Thanks for the update.
Will ATI and other cards work "out-of-the box" with compiz under the USB version of BT3 final?
A few additional updates on the BT3 Release:
- Installer - We didn't include one, stop whining.
- Snort - Auto installs, has snortsam patches, can act as an IDS.
- Karma-msf scripts - evilap.sh
- Compiz in USB release.
- Kernel sources in USB release or www.offensive-security.com/kernel.lzm
- Orinoco drivers excluded
- Broadcom cards inject well now!
- Several featured tools by SV - spoonwep, ezpwn, etc.
- VMware Edition installed originally on VMware Server 1.0.6 - VMWare tools installed.
- more updates to come...
Thanks for the update.

I'm amazed, I thought these things couldn't inject?,Broadcom cards inject well now
Great news.
They did actually work quite nicely using BT3b as well, glad to see that the minor errors are fixed now though.I'm amazed, I thought these things couldn't inject?,

please re-read my question, then read his post, i am asking something completely different. I know its easy to confuse with so many people calling a live usb install a real install on the sdhc... so ill explain..
I would like to know if a real install has been done on an sdhc Card. Not a live install with changes.
BT3b wouldn't boot with a "real" install on an sdhc card always had a kernal panic, someone suggested a fix (i believe adding a 10 sec delay on the boot process) and claimed it worked however myself and others have not been able to get it to boot. Muts said he was working on it i would like to know if its implemented in the new bt3 release..
This would be the post that archangel.amael was refering to and it clearly states that BT3 was succesfully installed to the sdhc card.Woot!! Got it running on my eee now! Compiz is a bit flakey, the menu items boarder is huuuuge! Regular kde looks right though. Installed the usb version to my 4Gb sdhc card. Same as the old way, copy the boot and BT3 folders over and run the bootinst.sh script.
