Any chance I could talk you into making a few lightscribe specific lables?

You dont need lightscribe to actually do it, just make them like normal pictures only it can only be single color, with some shading so to speak.

If you just google lightscribe pictures you will see what I'm talking about and how the CD burner 'draws' them on the CD.

what kinda images will the light scribe unit use for printing? will it use a .png image that way i could make it without a background and make it with black text so it will print good ..

from what i can tell any color prints from light black to bark black depending on the color darkness.. how does it print white or does it leave white the disc color? if it does i can just make it with a white background and black text for ya.. let me know a lil more how it prints and ill make it for ya

If you have a copy of Nero for windows it has the CD cover creator tool thing in it, and there should be an option when you start a new project for 'lightscribe'



Basically, lightscribe is one color. The disc has a flat color, say greenish, then it 'burns' the picture into that color, almost like an etching but with super good detail.



Let me find some lightscribe images already made to give you an idea. I tried to photoshop some of yours but my skills are far to horrible to do it right but you would want your first step to not have that massive black background, and just the logo and images you wanted drawn over it if that makes sense.

Do you have an email address I can send these to you at? I have huge folder but picked out 4 images about 300KB or so that aer perfect to see how lightscribe works.

Gmail account works great with its built in viewer/unzipper for images.

You can not post valid urls, for example this is a valid url:

However this one is not valid:

But people can still follow the link with some minor editing.
