HP Mini Note 2133 - Wireless

Hello All,

This is my first posting here at Remote Exploit Forms! I just bought a new HP Mini Note 2133 and would really love to run BackTrack3 Final on it. My wireless isn't working and I'm not sure how to fix it. I can open my wireless assistance but cannot find any wireless networks that are in fact running.

Any help on how to get this awesome laptop's wireless working within BackTrack 3 Final would be greatly appreciated.

not very helpful when you haven't provided much information, e.g. where is your lspci output? or maybe relevant dmesg along with lsmod?

Get an expresscard. the Broadcom on the mininote is lame, and takes some tweaking to work. I use a D-Link Xtreme N notebook expresscard, DWA-643. Works fine for me.

Was the D-Link Xtreme N express card detected automatically with your HP 2133???
