    Default Aircracking

Ok I had this target AP WAP I was collecting lots of packets. and when I used aircrack with the following command:

    aircrack-ng -1 -f8 /root/capture-01.cap

I was told I needed the -w for a dictionary.....? I have never read about that before. can anyone tell me what this is about, please

    Thanks in advance

In case you change your mind and want to target a WPA instead of WAP network you might want to check out this thread for some useful information. http://forum.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=8230
