Copying user profile ?

sory newbie question,

i created another user beside root.

How to make the start menu exactly same as root.

cp /root/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu /home/userxyz/.config/menus/applications-kmenuedit.menu

maybe backtrack team can add this to skeleton dir (if possible (?) )
