Posted in the wrong spot? Maybe it was moved already looks sorta right I guess I'll look after this post anyway but try typing "alsamixer" sometimes the channels aren't always cut and dry in linux so it may be muted. you see one muted hit "M" after selecting the proper channel then adjust the volume with up and down from there... hope this helps!
