Acer Aspire 5920G
Installed BT3b to HDD along with XP and Ubuntu. At first the sound wouldn't work, but I fixed that by re/installing latest ALSA and unmuting the surround channel in alsamixer. Some extra steps were needed to make the system remember the volume settings on reboot, as it used to forget them.
Also, the hard disk seems to fail to shutdown properly on poweroff, but shuts down fine on reboot. I am still looking for a fix.
Everything else seems to work.
Well i do have the same laptop, only i can't get my wireless to work.
Could you perhaps explain how you achieved this, and is it possible to use aircrack with it?
I haven't tested BT3f yet, but in beta you had to reload the proper drivers for the wireless to work properly. Don't forget to turn on the wireless physically (the button). I was able to connect to my WPA2 AP without any problems and browse the internet. I use two separate USB wifi cards to do monitor mode and injection (WUSB54GC and AWUS036H).
Curious... Do you have any problems with your HDD improperly shutting down when you poweroff your laptop in BT3?
