EDIT: Well I suppose that if you can afford that price you are probably used to holding on to a pretty fat wallet, so it might not be a problem after all.

If you can afford that you can afford hire someone to carry it for you.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.

Real IT people carry firearms for such things.

True however one has to be careful and note the types of backstops. Most office walls are not that thick and could provide means for collateral damage.

    That's what these are for.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

Damn, I had the same thought!

I carried Glasers on-duty for many years, and loved them. My private carry weapon still has blue tips for the first two rounds. I'm actually surprised to see them sold on the open market. For many years they were sold to LE/military only.

BTW, if you ever want to see how effectively they work, take a one gallon milk bottle, filled with water, to the range. The bottle will explode on impact laterally as all the kinetic energy is dissipated, but there will not be an exit hole on the back.

Used them a few times my self at the ranges while I was in the service. Lots of fun to be had !!
I am like you Thorn I did not know that these were available on the civilian market.
Might have to try and pick a few up one day.

How about the ACCES ME firefox extentions, nice tools for webbased pen testing.
