I'm kind of new to linux but, intrigued. Anyways, I start up back track and it gets about 50% of the way done booting and it says
"ALSA7ftp/2.6.20/src-drivers/alsa-driver-1.0.14rc2/pci/hdc/hdc_codec.c:216: hadc_codec: invalid dep_range_va"
and it just repeats that extremely fast, I can't enter anything I have to manually shut down my computer to get it to work.
Any Ideas?
Burned the .iso file on to a cdr at 4x with nero
and tried the cheats bt acp=off, bt irqpoll, bt nohd.. figured it was worth a shot.
Assuming that your BT3 might be corrupt:
(One) Retry the BT3 download, don't use a download program.
(Two) Try Magic ISO if you don't have nero,

Please let us know if this helps,

Also, ALSA is part of the sound system.
