    Default keyboard question

so my laptop is a little beat up, and the "-" sign doesnt work (I am typing this on a different pc)

is there anyway to remap the keyboard so I can use a different key? Can't use linux without the '-' lol

option 1 buy a new internal keyboard
option 2 use an external keyboard - problem solved

Use xmodmap to remap the key if you like.
