wireless connection issue
I have problem with wirelees connection in my Notebook with built-in wireless card { Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945BG Network Connection};
when i run wireless assisstant i got the following error massage
{Radio of your wireless card seem to be turned off using
an external switch on your computer you need turn it on be able to use wireless network}
The wireless switch is on ; and the problem still exist..

Just burned his ISO
ifconfig -a
to see if it is there
ifconfig wlan down
ifconfig wlan0 up
-- or what ever your device is could be wlan0 rausb0 etc...
sorry not familia with the intels but ths is a generic way also i am sure this question has been answered be4

Just because you wrote ifconfig up does not mean that you have also connected to an access point. You must then give commands to do that as well. Have a look at http://wirelessdefence.org/Contents/...ssCommands.htm
For more info on wireless commands in linux.
