Updated syslinux,now works perfectly!

i got hp laptop i had same problem but i solved . select vesa mod and press tab than add this to the command line after space.

First of Hello, I'm at my wits end, I got this old Dell CPi a series
Specs:
PIII 500 mhz
64 mb ram
3 Gb HDD
800x600 display
Now This may be silly but I cant get BT3 running off the CD i've tried damn near every options tried "bt iqrpoll" & "acpi=off" no love
Please Help!! it will be greatly appreciated Thank you all.
