    Question Metasploit/what to do when all ports are closed

    Hi, I'm an italian boy. Exscuse me for my bad english!

    I start to use Metasploit 3 and i have a question. If all the port of a windows XP computer are close or filtered, how i can penetrating the system?

    First, try Nmapping with different options, you might find things that were overlooked (they might have port 10000 open for some reason).

    Simply put, if no ports are open, you cannot use metasploit, since it exploits open ports.

    you can't....
    you can only
    1)make the target connect to you
    2)hack the router and allow your ip in
    3)hack in another computer in the same lan that has access to the target

    sending malicious code to the target (e-mail for example), XSS on a site that
    you know the target will visit or any other kind of the target's browser vulnerability are some ideas.

    4) Try to bypass the "filter"
