2wire gateway question?????

I'm currently testing my home wireless network and I noticed I couldn't get any data packets. I have a 2WIRE GATEWAY that's in a neutral area in my house so my power is good. I just would like to know is the router set up not to send out data packets, or do I have to go about collecting data packets another way?

lol nothing like that.there is no such setting which not let the send data packets.there should be some activity on network e.g. connecting a client,accessing network.if there is no client you can still test using clientless chopchop attack and can replay packets.find xploitz tutorials regarding it.
