Toshiba satellite 1800-800

Good day to all.

I have this toshiba satellite 1800-800 laptop (it is on the working list) with a cisco pcimcia wireless card.

I have the btv3 live cd (tested on a pc and worked fine)

the problem is that i can run bt only in text mode
if i run it with kde of any graph mode the screen goes black (when starting x i think) and nothing happens.

I started it in text and used the startx but a black screen came again
Same when used the xconf
I tryied it without the cisco card ...nothing again.

It seems like a graph issue but what can i do

btV2 Tested and worked fine

So it must be a btv3 issue

Have you tried any of the boot cheatcodes on the wiki?
