Well man it's just like cars some say ford some say chevy etc.
As for Acer's Laptops I had one with me in Iraq during the initial stages of the war, Both me and the laptop took a 60mm mortar round, now as for the laptop there was a bit of schrapnel in the screen but it still works.
Then I wrote Acer told them my story and they sent me a replacement. The same laptop about 2 years latter was run over by a car, now only the left corner was damaged and the end result to me is the floppy no longer works.
So for my money on both customer service and being somewhat rugged given the circumstances I will stay with Acer.
