Best USB wireless adapter for BT4 Final

Hi, been searching for the best USB wireless adapter for BT4 Final, with a focus on WPA handshake capture success. I have a Hawking HWUG1 that seems to send out DeAuth very well, but will not capture a handshake for anything. I also have an ALFA AWUS050NG that will connect to an AP but will not inject DeAuth or read handshakes when a client connects.

Has anyone had out of the box success with a specific adapter in the injection/handshake cap area?

I got HWDN1, and I love it... range is amazing. It's RT2870.

I got success to get some handshake, with my tinny PCIe atheros.
This is my "lspci | grep Wireless" :

01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

But it could be hard sometime to get, remember to launch your deauth with the mac address of a client in the -c parameter.Also check your wireless driver, madwifi is a good choice.

Even there is many reason why you can not get one, take a look here, specially the 'I Cannot Capture the Four-way Handshake!' you can find usefull informations.

In the end, for your question I think it is yes for many people with bt4, and a atheros chipset card, but as you can see in the link there is a lot of parameters to take in consideration.

Quite new to this but the AWUS036H worked for me out of the box and I understand it highly rated among others. Using it I was able to crack my basic WPA password quite easily. Stick on a 9 dBi and it has great range.

I got that one, its the AWUS036NH, it supposedly has the longest range out of any other adapter on the market, I can't really prove it unless I buy the 36N model. But so far it works with BT4 R1 out of the box no drivers needed. I got it for $36 on amazon free shipping.

Thats a great adapter but if I recall it is not supported ootb on bt4f
