Panasonic Toughbook CF-52

I tried to boot the BT3 live cd, and I tried to install it using a Virtual Machine. When booting from the cd, i select the kdm and fluxbox UI's and after selecting either of them, all I get is a black screen.

I would very much like to run this using my toughbook, please help
