What kind of file is it exactly and have you tried reading any/all documentation that came with the driver/driver's site?

The drivers should already be installed.

Use the search function for any support problems with your specific card.

No, they aren't already installed. He said he was using BT2.

Time to upgrade to BT3 my friend, which will make it a non-issue.

Yea, I don't have this card and I've got BT3 running flawlessly on my machines. Just wanted to stress to them to use the search function since its probably already been addressed several times on these forums. Checking the wiki HCL probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Here ya go make sure each one is followed in order.
    1. Look here for your laptop/ wireless card first:
    http://backtrack.offensive-security...._Compatibility
    Once done then
download BT then check here on how to burn the iso to cd or dvd

Once BT is up and running and you want to "crack da wep" go here:
    http://forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=9063
read just enough to figure out how to make the video play and you will be good to go.
To be successful here you should read all of the following.
    ForumRules
    ForumFAQ
If you are new to Back|Track
    Back|Track Wiki
Failure to do so will probably get your threads deleted or worse.
