Getting started with Maltego in BT3

Hi i have been playing with bt3 tools thought i would put a getting started guide with Maltego as it took me an hour to figure it out.

start maltego from back track > information gathering
goto tools > options > server and external tool settings > web browsers
i delete all accept firefox
goto tools > manage transforms
click discover transforms
follow steps in discovery wizard
Once you're done you should see a list of transforms.
The icons at the left hand side of each transform should be RED. This means you cannot use the transform yet!!!
Click on any transform
all the Paterva transforms make use of an API key, and that this has not been set yet
Click on register toget your api key
put the key in the top option of the manage transforms in the box that says key and save
go back into manage transforms
anything in red click the box and choose view disclaimer and accept

when thats all done as an example i choose a website i.e www.remote-exploit.org right click on it and choose all transforms

is the first time than i use maltego , but I think that with a good configuration with others european parameters and information it's really great program.

Can't make it work.
I got the api key and i looked at the disclaimers.
When I try to use one of the transforms, I get this error:

"error while executing transform... Error during remote execution
Message parsing exception: Invalid uri
http;.....
Invalid query

I have tryed on 2 different installs of BT3beta and I also installed Maltego on a Xp box. Its the same on all 3??
I must have missed something.
Can some body tell me what I am doing wrong?

I got maltego to work, awesome program. However, I have a question; is there a way to merge transformations? ie use two transformations simultaneously? The only problem I have with the program is that my results are so broad. I have to clear all the bs out then run a transform on one of my results. Leading me to ask is there also a way to blacklist certain criteria; such as an area code.
