How do i do that?
Slow down buddy and have a bit of reading time this will serve to help you in the log run and besides bactrack is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Boot codes or Cheat codes are parameters you can add during boot to syslinux to alter the behavior of Backtrack. Boot codes must start with "bt" (e.g. bt nodhcp) at the boot prompt. Below you can find some of them.

also if you can get to a prompt type then cut and paste the output to
This may contain some error message info that may be of use.Code:#dmesg
Also have a look at the other code that I posted above about logs and error messages.
Take your time and you will get it.

So I have a new MB and just tried the dual boot. I too experienced the stall. To be honest, I was too lazy to search for what exactly is causing it. I did notice on a quick grep to my messages log file that there was a note about running irqpoll as a boot code. So I put "irqpoll" in my lilo.conf file under append. It's not exactly a fix, but it does get rid of the mouse stall for now.
