    Default please help me .... no one gave an answer please help me out

    hai all

    everyone may be njoying backtrack3 but am not . i have been struggling a lot . for most of the time i had to suffer with the installation issues now after going through that part most important my audio problem i had posted this before days and nothing really came .... please help me out i have seen other posts but nothing really helped me .. if any one having some sort of time please do help me out ... iam thoroughly frustrated and thats all i can say ...

    this is the out put when i extract the alsa tar file it is saying that the version.h is missing when acidphyx one of the members tried to analyze this problem he said that i would be lack of full install .... but not for the once i have installed bt3 for thrice and that to all full installs .. if my audio was right i wanted and was dreaming to post my first ever video on old and outdated dcom exploit as one our members tally did ... i could not even proceed with this i cant even listen to songs or any other podcasts guys this is a request please consider and sorry for posting this long message as it annoys ... but think along newbee line afterall all you were on one day t

    Double posting threads is definately not going to get you the help you need. Just take a sec and compose yourself and give someone the chance to help you if they so desire. In the meantime, I recommend you do some exhaustive research on your own and try to find the real reason you are getting this error....

    The error you are getting is telling you what to do you need to install the Kernal Source you can find it here http://backtrack.offensive-security.....php/Main_Page

    Usually with a title like this, you will get no replys at all esp as the forum rules says
    Use sensible descriptive titles in your posts - not titles such as "Please Help!!" or "Need Assistance" or "what Am I Doing Wrong?" etc
    I hope wick86 advice has got you sorted?

    Wick86 is correct you need the kernel sources OR you can rebuild the kernel with alsa support for your sound card. Your choice
