Hi all! Can someone tell me why people refuse to understand that we don't do Ubuntu here?

This is a support forum for Back|Track, not Ubuntu. Capisci?

I'm also not so sure it would even work with Ubuntu. It's made for BackTrack which while it is linux, is based on Slackware. Totally different packaging methods for apps. You'll also run into issues with the kernel headers not matching.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

There is no need for fast-track on ubuntu when you have apt-get.

    Huh?

Maybe I am missing the joke here, but I do not see how you come to compare apt-get with fast-track? You cannot get fast-track through apt-get and they most definitely do not do the same thing so would you please explain what you mean.

Edit the source Python code to adapt it for your distro and your desired file system hierarchy... a good 4 hours worth of work.

He has clearly only used the update function which is like only using the windshield wipers on a Ferrari.
