Thread: i can't install Kaffeine 0.8.6 released

    Default i can't install Kaffeine 0.8.6 released

    i installed kaffeine 0.8.6 but kaffeine wants xine-lib 1.1.9. i tried to install xine-lib 1.1.15 and i installed "zlib 1.2.3". but when i tried to make (after "./configure")xine-lib, 1 error occured.

    what can i do ? i want to install any video player but i can't. i can't install vlc media player too.

    works fine with slap-get

    i downloaded slapt-get 0.9.12e Slackware-12.0 package from software.jaos and installed. after :

    tnx to this thread I finaly after 33 hours or so (not kiding) got my dvb-t card to work on bt. booth kaffeine and xine gui.

    had it up and running in under 10 minutes in slax but never got it to work on backtrack until now
