    Default Metasploit3 db_nmap Problem!

    Hey,

i am having trouble with db_nmap (using sqlite3)

    Code:
    *] Usage: db_nmap [nmap options]
    msf > db_nmap 127.0.0.1
[-] The nmap executable could not be found
    Any suggestion?

    Code:
"The nmap executable could not be found"
    Hm, what could this mean??
Hope anybody can figure this out for you

My first reaction would be a corrupt install, my next would be that msf isn't properly linked to nmap. I'm not sure how msf goes about that but it's probably mis-linked in a config file.

I would be looking at the path which is used for nmap. Could be in one of the msf files.

If you open a command prompt and do a:
    Code:
    which nmap
    or
    Code:
    nmap -version
    What does it return?
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.

Could that be related to a bad hard drive install of the iso?
