Since Bluetooth is not used to boot the system, could you not apply the correct firmware and unbrick it?

Looks like my bluetooth dongle is bricked after applying incorrect firmware.
Is it possible to restore bricked usb dongle? hciconfig doesn't report any connected hardware.

Assuming that you made a backup of the original firmware you should be able to restore it using exactly the same procedure you used to upload the incorrect one.Originally Posted by bicer
