Does any one hv answer for this???Can i include the drivers frm ATI in this ditribution in any means???
Hey guys,
i am new to this linux distro, and i am using a Sony Vaio VGN-AR71M and trying to boot BT3 from a 4GB USB Pen Drive. The problem i am having at the moment is that X11 cant find a suitible monitor specification for the monitor i have. I have tried the command to automatically create the config and it still didnt work!
I have found out that i need to find out the virtical and horizontal rates, but i cant find them in a manuals anywhere!
Here is some basic information:
resolution: 1440x900
refresh rate: 60htz
gfx card: 8400M 256MB
is there anyway i can get this sorted. Its the X11 not finding a compatible display setting. I can run it in VMWare if i need to run linux to be able to find out anything.
freakz
