You should be able to install either the cd or usb version to a 1Gb card, you can't put a changes partition, but they will work as a "virtual" cd or dvd.

I was wondering I have a couple of 1G SD cards.DO you think it would be possible to do an install on that?Which version do you think would be recamended to use the live cd, or the usb?
