Default QTparted won't let me resize ext3 partitions

Well yesterday I finally decided to install BT3 on my laptop with a Ubuntu dual boot and I started (using the video on the offensive-security website) but once I get to the part where I need to resize my partitions using qtparted it won't let me change their size (the resize button is disabled). The file systems type of the partitions are ext3 (what Linux uses). Anyone have any idea on how to do it? Here a screen shot:

    Code:

Unmount them first. You cannot work on mounted partitions, there is even a popup that tells you that.

    http://qtparted.sourceforge.net/features.en.html

QTParted can only resize NTFS and ReiserFS partitions.

Take a look at Paragon Partition Manager. U could download a trial but it does work for ext3. even though it supports Windows only, u may boot into the master cd (in Linux) and re-size ur ext3 partition.
