Question How to set up a John cluster using BT3 final ?

    Hi!

I've got to ask you guys how to set up a John the ripper cluster using the final version of BackTrack 3?
I've seen no entries in the boot menu for the MPI client, nor MPI server.
The old PDF from Muts telling me how to set up and use the cluster isn't right anymore.
I tried bt load=server|pxe|john and dbt load=... but it didn't work.

What do I have to change to get this thingy working?

    Thanks in advance!

    (Typos fixed.)

I could be wrong, but I don't think it is available in BT3 Final. I don't have BT3 here at work at the moment, so someone else can prove me wrong.

Yea, it's not a boot option any more. Looks like there's still a good use for BT2.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

    Question

Okay and what's the reason for leaving the cluster option out of BT3?

And how can I set up the cluster with BT2? The files described in the Muts' PDF are no longer available.
