    Default No Sound?!

    BT2 boots well now but when i tried to play some music there was no sound even though it actually detects my speakers. help? any1? THX

    see if any channels are muted

    or alsaconf usually can configure your sound card for you

    I tried to pm the op but seems it is turned off so I left one of those public message things.

    yeah thx i tried alsamixer and alsaconf. 1st time it 'worked'. had to turn the volume knob to max and the volume was still low. After rebbot i followed the same steps in alsaconfig and this time kmix stopped functioning. i dont think it ever detected my speakers before trying anything... anyways can any1 help me start from scratch??
