new linux user

Hey Guys, Just started using linux started with Ubuntu quickly moved on to Slackware then Sabayon now Backtrack. Just thought I would jump in here and say hi. gj on the bt3 distro.

on another note, I tried to join #remote-exploit on freenode and it said I was banned. I don't know why or how I would be banned as I just found out about Backtrack but if anyone can help me out with that I would be very thankful.

What name did you use on connection?

If you were banned from the channel, no-one here will unban it for you

If it's a fluke, i.e. nickname or IP issue, try again in the near future

Well I tried connecting as multiple nicknames including Vic1ous, Mordeths but it just says "you are banned" I've never connected to it before so I have no idea why I would be banned.
