How about a General category with general, spam and suggestions?

Dave.

Moved from "Announcements"
We tend to consider the forums/sub-forums categories quite carefully.
I've always tried to keep the categories "on topic"

A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
Well if the website is about General IT "stuff" then again one could post it into the general it section of the website. Then again if you are that unsure about the whole situation, to be on the safe side you could just PM one of the moderators or admins and explain the situation and ask for guidance. That may be your safest bet.![]()

"General IT Discussion" (where this thread is, incidentally) is the most you're going to get. This forum is BackTrack specific, and the General IT Discussion sub-forum is the only place where we relax those BackTrack-specific rules.
As to spam, there is no designated place for spam. But, go ahead and try it, and see how that works out for you.![]()
