    Red face this is the output what would you suggest now?

    hai

    i have tried and tired of installing bt2 final

    previously i used to have a win xp sp2 and ms 2003

    i have removed ms2003 and installed win xp

    in both the cased iam getting the following out put

    i have umouted /dev/sda and tried this what next ? where exactly is the problem help me with this....

    When you are activating 'qtparted' it is trying to run it on /dev/hda which is the cd. My suggestion is if you already have Windows XP loaded, get partition magic or some similar partition tool for windows and use that instead.

    Might be a smart idea to use the following dual boot guide from the wiki by muts

    That might be a good way to go.

    That you follow the forum guidelines that you agreed to when you joined and use subjects that actual mean something and might let someone know what this thread is actually about.
    I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.

    I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
