Default merging mac adresses from Capture file

I have captured some IV's from an access point, but it seems to keep changing it's mac-adress somehow, so I've got like 5.000 IV's spread over 100 mac-adresses from the same AP.

Now in aircrack-ng there's an option (-C) to merge AP's, but I can't get it to work.

What would be the best approach to use all the availlable IV's for calculating the WEP-key?

Just so you know, I have permission to do this.

Sounds like you're trying to crack a clientless ad-hoc network.
That's why the mac-address appears to be changing all the time.
Since you have permission to do this, you should know this.

If you make sure a client is connected then the mac-address will not change constantly.

ok, thnx, but is it possible to combine all the IV's when they come from different mac-adresses?

I have used it like this:

    aircrack-ng capture.cap -e essid
    aircrack-ng capture.cap --bssid 00:11:22:33:44:55 aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff -C FF:EED:CC:BB:AA
    aircrack-ng capture.cap -C 00:11:22:33:44:55 aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff

    nothing merges the mac-adresses.

    You could try this

Using this command (taken from aircrack-ng website) I've never done it but it should work
-m maddr (WEP cracking) MAC address to filter WEP data packets. Alternatively, specify -m ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff to use all and every IVs, regardless of the network.

As a matter of interest, how long did it take to get the 5,000 IV's?
