    Default Airoscript.sh

    Hi,
I try to crack my own WEP network for a long time, but without success. First I tried it by hand with airodump-ng and later with airoscript on Backtrack 3. It always ends with the text:

    Sending Authentication Request (Open System)

This is the thing I can't manage.
I know the MAC of the Router and the PC, but I can't get an Authentication.
    So can someone help me?

Dump the script and learn each of the commands individually.

Thank you samsung for pointing that out.

If you post your errors in the appropriate tutorial created by -=Xploitz=- or samsung, you will definitely get the assistance you require, as they are extremely helpful and willing to help.

I have a question. Are the wlan drivers on BT3 patched for Aircrack-ng or are that the normal drivers you get with your wlan card?

You do not have to patch the driver.

As a newbie don't use the scripts anymore.
Read all the guides around, type commands by hand and learn how the commands are working.

If u don't get any success, u should keep in mind how far away is your AP from your Client. Decrease the speed by setting up your card to 1M. if this sucks, use the tcpdump command and checkout what your are getting back from your AP.
