So I Want To Know How Do I Connect To Internet Using My Adsl Modem Which Asks For Username And Password I Have Configured The Networked Card Using The Command

What Else I Need To Do....

open terminal

kppp

[Gaucho]

Find & download this file

rp-pppoe-3.8.tar.gz

unpack ti "cd" to that folder

open readme and pry to start auto install (go)
tipe username few times "return" and passwrd
tipe in konsole:
pppoe-start #->to connect
pppoe-stop #->to disconnect

hiiiii. tx on the help on "how to connect to internet"
but i am having further problems
i have a bsnl ISP connection which requires username and password
when i open the kppp it shows me those fields for username and password and number to dial for
but which modem should i select from the modem options there are lots of them and which one is mine?????????
or am i doing something wrong??

i dont use kppp !
