will USB to PCMCIA Adapter work with Netgear WG511t on BT2final on VMWARE

i purchased a netgear WG511t PC card.
but my laptop has expresscard 54 slot

which is the best way to make the card work ?
1) should i buy a USB to PCMCIA adapter or
2) express card 54 to PCMCIA adapter

and will all the features work on the card or are there any limitations to this ?

does it support Backtrack V2 final on VMWare ?

has anyone been using this type of setup ?

This isnt really a reply, but just to say that I am in the same boat... but for me the adapter can be 34 or 54... so really if anyone has any genius ideas, please shout them out!
Money aside, do you think it is best to get rid of the card and get one which fits in the ExpressCard slot, or would an adapter be best? (in other words, are there any incompatibilities in this aspect?)

from my understanding pcmcia nor express cards work in vmware whatsoever. Buy a usb wifi card if you want to run bt in vmware. It's probably cheaper too.

i second that and recommend the alfa 500 usb adapter. Vmware is sooo convenient!
