Hope this is of use![]()
I don't know a lot about these laptops
But I've seen them mentioned on here quite a lot, hence why I posted the offer![]()
I work in that place, but on Paternity Leave at the moment (8lb 10oz, Baby Girl). Will have a pop in on the way past and look for you though.
Anything else you want to know? Post it here, and I'll find out for you.
Thanking you Muchly guys.
She's at home now, All happy and sleeping.
I'll not derail this thread anymore now though...
If someone wants to know something about this Machine, Post here, and I'll get my grubby mitts on it in work when I pop past, and find out for you.
I might have to spring for one myself, works out under £200 for the 512MB/4GB one after Staff Discount...![]()
I would highly recommend it
They are great little toys!
Muts put all the necessary drivers for them into BT3b.
They boot extremely well off of an SD card. Personally I think it runs as fast from SD as a normal hdd install.
The Atheros wireless works fine.
Even compiz works on them - so it all looks extra cool too!
BTW, I find that it's best to buy the cheaper 512mb model, as opposed to the 1gb model - then add a 2gb u/g stick. End result is 2gb machine for no more then the 1gb machine costs in the 1st place...
Okay.. got some time today, and went to have a look... and we only have the 2GB surf in
As soon as we get some more in, i think someone wanted me to have a look for something, but can't remember what.
Have decided I am getting one though. Will sell one of the bigger laptops to finance it... (Anyone want a 17" sony?). Will spring for the 4GB model though, and chuck 2GB in it straight off, along with a 8/16GB SDHC.
