When you installed the new driver did you apply the aircrack-ng patch?
Hai all,
I bought a usb stick with a zd1211b chipset
It had the product code ab11101
After some google i found that it's probaly the ADATTATORE WIRELESS WLAN USB 2.0 54 MBIT
The Vendor id code is 0ace 1215
The standard zd1211rw driver in bt2.0 is not working with this stick
When i do lsusb it says Zydas
I installed the vendor driver
h t tp://zd1211.wiki.sourceforge.net/VendorBasedDriver
Followed the instructions and i managed to configure my wlan0
But the problem is it does not find any acces points
What did i do wrong is the driver sucky for this stick or do i have to use another driver or can i get it working with the zd1211rw driver ?
Thnx for any help
When you installed the new driver did you apply the aircrack-ng patch?

Maybe you need to update your firmware:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...roup_id=129083
make sure you have internet connection on your computer and just copy and paste the text in h t t p://pastebin.com/f198fd648 in a konsole window.
Well i got my wireless adapter working but only with the orginal driver from zydax the vendor driver

Problem is the original driver not eems to be support injection

I'm thinking seriously that my card is not supported with the zd1211rw driver
Anyone has the same vendor key and get it working
I also found that it could be a problem with the kernel but i tried fedora 7 with the latest kernel also no luck
I also have a zd1211b chipset (on a HWU8DD)and the injection is not working. Not all zd1211b are supported. Also in normal mode with both drivers (original and the patch from here) internet crashes very quickly. I've tested so much and I still make more testing. I pretty sure that in a short time this things will work; patience![]()
