Make your own wordlists with this tool

Hello,

and first of all I want to thank all the guys here in the forum for their great work. Im absolutely new to linux and stuff like pentesting, BT, .... and I read a lot the last 5 days. And it helped me much, got BT on my HDD, everything is up to date and actually I try the "precompute-method" with airolib-ng (thanks -=Xploitz=- for your great tutorials , very nice work !!!).

And for this reason I was looking for (german) wordlists and found a lot (and a lot of shit ).

Then I found a tool for creating your own lists: You give the tool a URL and it will sniff all the words (and the words in the links, and the words in the link-links and so on) until you stop it. After that, it removes duplicates and saves the words in a textfile. You can set the tool as to only find words between a given length (i.e. 8 characters and bigger....) and it does.

BTW, if somebody has a link to GOOD german wordlist (and post it here ) I would be very happy !

the same exists in bt called wyd password profiler.. no need to nstall anything else...

http://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/Local/urz/ding/de-en/ looks promising though you might have to do some pre-processing on it to get it in a useful format.

...I wouldn't have looked for such a tool (and wouldn't have posted, sorry).

Sorry for that . I know JRR Tolkien, and I know that there's something about "Lord of the rings" but that's it . Never read a book from him nor watched a movie. But I found a wordlist namend "tolkien", I'll have a look whether "thorin" is in it :-) :-)
