    Default File/Folder Encryption

Sorry for the newbie question, but is there any good file/folder encryption software included with the standard BackTrack LiveCD? If there aren't what are some good ones to install?

TrueCrypt is a good one I've used for a long time. It has many different encryption algorithms. There are Windows and Linux versions, which can be compiled from source code for BackTrack.

    Default gpg

Use gpg for all file/message encryption needs under Linux

Use crypt or gpg under BSD or other unix systems

    Use gpg under Windows

    Use OpenSSH for remote work.

If you require assistance please let me know.
