simple........
without reinstalling no simple solution.......

you need to repartition your usb.......
first partition must be 800 MO and FAT32 format...extract your iso inside
second partition will be ext2 and will keep your changes on filesystem

so create that usb with 2 partitions.....
boot it
get the identifier of your second partition (something like /dev/sdb2)
write it down

reboot
at boot prompt
bt : bt changes=/dev/sdb2

that tells bt to use /dev/sdb2 for save changes and load previous ones from here too

boot
each time with that cheatcode and it will roxxxxxxxx

How do you create a partition on a usb drive i tyred to use qt-parted but it just "friezed" before i even pushed the commit button. Which application shall i use?

I take it this would be a "kernel argument" when booting with Lilo or Grub?
Could this be "intergrated" into the Lilo or Grub config?
