Is it possible to set DWL-G630 in monitor mode ?

Hi,

I use a Wireless Adapter D-Link DWL-G630 (Chipset Ralink - Driver RT61)

BT2 Final Version include some new drivers (RT2500, RT73, RT61, ...)

I try to use airmon-ng on live CD BT2 but I've the following message :

Interface . . . Chipset . . . . . Driver

ra0 . . . . . . . Unknown . . . . Unknown (MONITOR MODE NOT SUPPORTED)

Can you tell me what's the problem, and how I can resolve it ?

don't use airmon-ng

instead :
ifconfig ra0 up
iwconfig ra0 mode monitor channel XX rate 1M

yes the rt61 is not recognized well by airmon-ng because the driver share some iwpriv with others drivers.....airmon-ng can be tweeked in order it works...but i can't remember the things to change...
