yes me and i dont know why for sure but i heard that some computers dosent support booting from thumb drive
Tried installing to an 8 gig san disk cruzer USb thumb drive using the unetbooting method and the grub-install method as indicated by the wiki. With both installs, when i attempt to boot into the usb key, i get dropped into a busybox shell and i notice an error "Alert! does not exist. Dropping to a shell". It does not say what does not exist and im stuck here. Anyone encountered this before?

Well i was able to boot BT4 and BT4-r1 from USB key with no problems, using my acer aspire one netbook. However, I had this issue with BT4-r2, but couldn't find a solution. Now its happening again with BT5![]()
Well i was able to get things installed to my netbook. I burned the iso to DVD and it worked. As for why its not working with USB install, i do not know
had no problems with usb installation. Don't click on distribution choice...ignore it, use iso and usb u wanna boot it from. It will work, done it 6 times
