Backtrack4 - install wifi antenna question

Hi
I'm trying to get my wifi antenna recognized when I'm in the desktop doing a scan of WIFI networks. I cannot see the antenna.

I'm using a NextG USB-Yagi 802.11n WiFi Antenna,

any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I can see my internal wifi card, wlan0 - but when I plug in this NextG USB-Yagi 802.11n WiFi Antenna, I cannot see this antenna.

I would suggest either the manufacturer documentation or their website.

Those antenna's can have any wireless card/chipset. if you do 'lsusb | grep Net' you should get enough information to find the necessary driver for that card. The antenna itself does not require any drivers or configuration.
