I don't understand, what do you mean by BTx Official video? Are you talking about the video forum?
I was wondering Backtrack constantly being developed many new features are coming with it. No doubt that is the best in what it do
Can't they release BT2 official video on all the subject for the beginners and learners will have a great opportunity. Why such video tutorial should go to waste, they are marketing latest tutorial for latest version.
I believe that will be a great step like Metaspoloit for the Offensive Security Team
Share your feelings, what you think about this idea I would love to hear some comments from the developer groups![]()

Are you suggesting a promotional rev-up video?

I think he is asking for the older versions of the offensive security training videos.
"The difference between RAID1 and RAID0 is that the zero stands for how many files you're gonna have after a harddisk failure."
The current course material is essentially an updated version of the older stuff, so I dont think this is likely to happen. A lot of the older stuff is still very applicable even to the most recent version of BackTrack - I did the BT3 version of the course on BT4 Beta, and apart from a few different commands here the vast majority of it all still worked. So there is no wastage.
Yeah, I dont see this happening.
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".
The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.
*THE ALLSTAR* people worked hard for this course and some make a living out of it, so it would be really unfair to have it for free, considering it's one of the best security/pentesting courses.
You could actually find all you need on Google
Back|track giving machine guns to monkeys since 2007 !
Do not read the Wiki, most your questions will not be answered there !
Do not take a look at the: Forum Rules !
There are enough posts around on where to start and how to learn about pentesting basics.
If you seriously look for a good if not the best start you should afford the OffSec PWB course.
No need for them to give out older versions for free. I mean Microsoft doesn't give out 95,98, ME or XP since there are more current versions out there of Windows.
I think this topic is not really more than a +1 post thread.
If anyone else has a valid argument to keep the discussion open let me know.
