So I take it that you have Windows 7...

Let me suggest that you read the link below from our FAQ forum. At the very least it should let you know of the correct spelling for "Linux", which I'm amazed that you have managed to get wrong (twice), considering that the word is contained, correctly spelled, in the following locations:
    1. Right at the top of the page you're on now
    2. In the content of your own post, and
    3. In the URL to this forum.

    http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...backtrack.html

While we don't want to discourage new users, unfortunately BackTrack is not a good choice for an introduction to Linux. It does not have many of the more user friendly features that other Linux distros like Ubuntu have, because the focus is more on providing an environment suited for security testing - which requires some reasonable computing skills to use effectively.

Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.

I would also suggest a bit of basics on netiquette .
For starters please refrain from using all capital letters since this generally indicates you are yelling.
