Default How does Backtrack 4 boots without inittab?

    Hi,

I was wondering how the init process knows the runlevel when backtrack 4 starts as I could not find inittab anywhere.

I have been googling all around trying to find an answer but could not figure out the boot process here.

Please let me know the way it works without inittab. I would give me some light.

Thanks a lot for your time,

    zer.
