    Question Where is spoonwep?

    Hello, I was reading a lot about spoonwep and spoonwpa. I'm new to linux and I was using Ubuntu. I was trying to instal spoonwep but it took many hours without effect. So I decidet to download the newest version of BackTrack. But there is also no spoonwep. I was truing to install it and I failed again. Can someone tell me what is the easiest way to get spoonwep/wpa? Is there some older versions of BackTrack where spoonwep is includet and ready to use?

    Code:
    apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade

    With Gerix WiFi cracker being included in backtrack4 there is no reason to look for spoonwep..

    Shaman's Spoon apps were never included with backtrack. He's currently rewriting the apps to work with bt4, though his better looking half is preggers, so I'm sure that's not as high on his priority list now.

    No I didn't update. I have downloaded spoonwep2.lmz but I have no idea what to do next. I know I have to unpack it but when I was searching in the web for some tool to do this, i found only lzm2dir, but there's no such thing in bt4, apt-get didn't work also. I'll try to update.

    Here's a good idea. Try using aircrack suite that is included in Back Track.
    As for spoonwep look in the forums by using the search engine. There are plenty of threads on it.
    The original was coded for BT when it was slax based.
